Ray Leigh mentioned at last Tuesday’s practice that we were like a family – How true! I had the good fortune to have Thanksgiving dinner with all but two of my tribe. Big family—eight children and that produces a large, large group of kids and grandkids!! It was a blessing to be with them and see how they have grown and matured.
Our group has grown into quite a big family also. Getting all together on the Stage at the PAC is a blessing to behold!
My children have different views on many subjects, (we will not get into politics!!), but they do come together for the Lord, and the Lord has come through for them. Numerous instances have occurred in all the families that have definitely been the work of the Lord.
The true importance of this community Christmas project is that, despite our differences, we are coming together for the Lord’s work.
One of my family’s Thanksgiving traditions is Dad’s delectable fruit salad. The Christmas project is like that salad. Several different kinds of wonderful fruits (pun intended) mixed together with a beautiful and delicious result. What a sumptuous dessert!
Let’s make our production, with God’s guidance, a wonderful and fulfilling dessert for our community!!
